After graduating from USQ in 1991 majoring in both Accounting and Computing, my early career saw me as a Chartered Accountant with firms both on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. In 1999 I purchased A Counting House and ran it with myself and one other accountant. Today I have a team of 11 incredibly professional people working with us as A Counting House has grown. I enjoy catching up with my clients each year and advising them in Tax, Accounting, Superannuation, Auditing and with Business Advice. It is rewarding to me when my current clients refer their friends, family and business associates to A Counting House because they know we can look after them. I have a beautiful wife and four adult children. I am an avid sports follower and I regularly run between Mermaid Beach and Burleigh Heads to enjoy the Gold Coast and keep fit.

Hi. I’m a Public Accountant, a Registered Company Auditor and a Registered Tax Agent. I have been providing services to a wide range of local, national and international clients for more than 35 years. These services include taxation advice, tax planning and tax return preparation, auditing of public and private companies, and business coaching and systems development.

I provide an optimum level of service through gaining an in-depth knowledge of your business affairs, and will always spend time at your premises to gain a better understanding of your situation, thereby enabling me to provide better advice.

Many of my clients have been with me for more than 15 years, some of them as long as 35 years, which must be a measure of the confidence and trust that those clients place in me.

On a personal note, I’m happily married with kids who have long since flown the coop, and I’m passionate about Collingwood and all things AFL.

In 2017, A Counting House was my introduction to the work force and since, I've progressed to working on the team as the Administration Assistant. As an 'office all-rounder' it is my responsibility to ensure things run smoothly by taking on whatever tasks and challenges that I've been assigned - adaptability is the key. I always delight in being able to meet our clients and taking a share in making their experience with us the best it can be.
Outside the office, my hobbies include traditional sketching, water-colour painting, equestrian, cooking and reading classic literature.
